Frank Gehry, a world-renowned architect (Walt Disney Concert Hall, Guggenheim Bilbao Museum, Spain)
Frame constructed of hard black lacquered white maple veneer strips, laminated 6 to 9 thick with high-bonding glue.
Frank joined Knoll in 1989 with the idea of designing furniture inspired by bushel baskets.
His designs debuted at the the Museum of Modern Art 3 years later.
The chair in black lacquer measures: 31 ½” x 30” x 33”H.
Ottoman: 23.5″ W 23.5″ D height: 8″ – 14″
Very close to new condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to the wood slats.
Little if any signs of use. This is a great opportunity to own an early production example for much less.
